Our doors are open to many more people than just Episcopalians

The members of St. Alban’s Episcopal Church have opened their doors to others
for almost the parish’s entire 50-year history .  They are men and women who are in recovery from addictions.

In the course of a week no fewer than 8 groups of Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, and Al-Anon hold their meetings in our facilities.  They pay small monthly fees to help offset the additional heating, cooling, and maintenance costs.

We provide them with storage space, tables and chairs, a sink, and of course a roof over their heads.  Each group has a key to the parish hall, and on those eight weekly occasions the parking lot is pretty full.

There is no effort by St. Alban’s to proselytize our guests.  They need space and we have it.  Their presence in our facilities is God’s gift to us.
