THE LABYRINTH AT
Many persons would like to make pilgrimages to the holy places of the world, but financial or time constraints forbid it. A labyrinth can substitute for the journey.
Starting at the outside pilgrims at the St. Alban’s labyrinth follow a circular path that leads them toward the center and then back to the beginning. Numerous pilgrims who use this ancient form of meditation and contemplation report they lose track of direction and the world around them and begin to focus on the spirit.
The St. Alban’s labyrinth is on the church campus along St. Alban’s Drive (click
here for directions) and is available to the public 24 hours daily (but no lighting
at nighttime). No reservation is required nor is it necessary to check first with
the church office. Instructed walks are sometimes held. Contact us to learn if there
is one scheduled in the near future. 410-
